Easter, Mom's Day and a whole lot more!

Lots to say since my last post.  We'll start on April 1st. This was Uncle Jason's birthday!  Grandma and Grandpa Otteman came over for a cookout and cake. While they were here, we put together our new play set.

Later, I helped Uncle Jason blow out his candles.

It's been nice having a smaller yard so I can help Daddy mow and weed whip.

The week before Easter we colored eggs.  It was so much fun putting stickers on them.

On April 7th, we went to Wasserbahn in the Amana Colonies for a birthday party. Brynn and Daddy had fun going down the slides together.

I had a little bit of a tummy ache that day so I didn't do much swimming.

Easter morning!!  Look at all our gifts the Easter bunny brought us.  The bikes were from Mommy and Daddy.

After breakfast, we headed downstairs for an Easter egg hunt.

Our eggs were full of candy and money!!  My favorite!

We then went to Grandma and Grandpa Eaton's house for lunch.  We brought a fruit arrangement.  Mommy said nobody could leave the table until every morsel was gone because it was very expensive :)  Here is Brynn enjoying a chocolate covered pineapple bunny.

Since the weather was warming up quickly, Brynn got to enjoy a treat from the traveling ice cream van.

Daddy was gone one evening so Mommy had Brynn and I make our dinner.  We decided on pizza. We got to mix the dough, spread the dough and sauce and then put on the cheese.  We may have tasted a little bit of the cheese.

Here we are enjoying our pizza!

The next night, Jessica, Kenley and Kyanna came for a night.  Mommy let us shuck the corn for dinner.

And later, we enjoyed movie night with Finding Nemo, popcorn, M&M's and gummy worms!
On April 24th, Mommy went and got a new tattoo.  She got a purple ribbon for Cystic Fibrosis and the word breathe on her right wrist.

On May 1st, Brynn got her first hair cut.  Mommy said she did great. Here she is climbing on the frog.

Then it was time for the cape.

Before they knew it, she was done.

May 5th was the big day!  Great Strides in Iowa City.  Here we are starting the walk.

Medical Associates in Maquoketa also wore our team shirts every Monday for the month of May to support Cystic Fibrosis.  What a great team!  We appreciate their support.

We had a great walk and raised over $2500. This last year has been a great year for medicine.  We are looking forward the the year to come and hopefully the approval of my new drug.  Very exciting!  Stay tuned :)
Also with the nice weather, we bought a slip-n-slide.  Some of the neighbor kids came over for some water fun.

Brynn loved the inflatable slide board.

Then we put the sprinkler under our trampoline. What fun!

Here's a silly picture of Brynn and her animals in Mommy and Daddy's bed.

And finally, Mother's Day.  Here is the breakfast we made Mommy.  She loved it!

We had both Grandma's and Grandpa's over for dinner.  Here is Mommy with my Grandma's.

I also wanted to inform everyone that CVS is taking donation for Cystic Fibrosis for the month of June.  So, if you are ever in a CVS store this month, please consider donating.  Love to each and every one of you.
