Iowa May 2008

Greetings everyone. I have been a very busy boy. First of all I wanted to show you the Mother's Day card I made my Mom. Isn't it beautiful? Well, Daddy may have helped a little.

We made another trip to Iowa this month. We stayed at Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kris's house. Here I am helping Grandpa with the weeds in the yard. I found the shovel very fascinating and funny.
Grandma Kris also bought me a mower with bubbles so I helped mow the yard too. We went to Grandpa Bill and Grandma Ann's house for dinner. Grandma Ann bought me a laughing pig. Thank you Grandma.
Great Grandma Dorothy came over for a visit. She is feeling much better and is getting along great. It's nice to see her doing so well and I'm happy to report she is back home. We also went to see Great Aunt Helen but I have no pictures because I was so busy running around the care facility showing off my scream so we didn't have time for pictures. Maybe next time.
The main reason for our visit home was to have a big party for Daddy's 30 1/2 birthday. Here I am with Daddy and Will Kimbrough. Will sang me a beautiful song and I was listening intently the entire time.
Ava Peterson and I also got a chance to play with some of the balloons. I also kept busy manning the keg cups. I think I did an excellent job.
Sunday morning Mommy, Daddy and I went to Eden Valley to see Grandpa Bill, his friend Cindy and Uncle Jason. We had a good time playing dice, walking around and jumping on the swinging bridge. Oh yeah, and more cups.
Well, that's all for now. We had a very busy trip and we hope to make it back again Labor Day weekend. Thanks again to everyone who donated to my Great Strides. You can believe we will be doing it again next year.
Love and hugs,

Luke William

It was really great to see you this past weekend. You just keep getting cuter. I'm not too sure about you hanging out by the keg though. Looks like your dad and uncles are having a bad influence on you. You guys did a great job with your Great Strides for CF walk. Pretty soon you're going to be able to help your daddy mow your lawn. Love, G'ma

Hi little man. Don't mean to criticize but you're a little too small to handle the kegs. Don't look in the cup. There's nothing in there for you, at least not beer. Those old people at the center loved you. See you Labor Day. Woner what toys you'll get this time. Love you. Midge and Louie.
